University of Florida Alumni Association

The University of Florida Alumni Association hired FMG to develop a new logo and brand identity to bring a fresh look to the organization. In alignment with the new brand, FMGproduced event materials and a promotional video for UFAA’s annual Gator Gala, as well as brochures, e-blasts and print ads promoting membership.

Additionally, FMG developed the University of Florida Jewish Alumni Association website, which served as a model for other alumni associations under the University of Florida to follow.

Mack Trucks

Mack Trucks elected FMG to develop the International division’s annual dealer conference identity, collateral and branding materials. A brochure was also created for their “Vision to Value” plan in 2010.

Blue Highway

Sebastian Ferrero Foundation

In March 2009, the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation brought Frankel Media Group on as their full-service media agency partner. Since then, FMG has worked in partnership with the Foundation and it’s Board of Directors. FMG has successfully created and executed a strategic marketing and public relations campaign for the Foundation, including marketing it’s multiple annual events. Currently, the Foundation has raised over $6 Million in 4 years.

Ingenios Health

As a new startup, Ingenios Health hired FMG to build their brand identity. Ingenios Health is a premier provider of choice for consumers, insurers and institutions, and delivers specialized, in-home health services from highly-skilled professionals utilizing innovative technology. FMG created the brand's logo, responsive design website, public relations strategy, collateral materials and recruitment videos.

Florida Gateway College

Florida Gateway College charged FMG with developing an event collateral package for their campus concert series. Creative production included sponsorship packages, event tickets, programs and a website for online ticket purchasing. With FMG’s help, FGC sold out seven of the ten concerts, brought in over 7,000 fans, and saw a 10-fold increase in sponsorship and ticket sales.

The Bartram

The Bartram is a high-end, luxury apartment complex located in Gainesville, FL. After closing unexpectedly due to necessary reconstruction of the building, FMG was hired to navigate all crisis management situations on behalf of The Bartram. Additionally, FMG developed a strategic communications plan, media plan and creative campaign for the reopening of The Bartram. Upon execution of the plan, the property leased 100 percent of its available units within five months.

As a client since 2008, Tioga Town Center was looking to increase traffic to their shopping center. FMG planned, negotiated and executed an integrated marketing plan for Tioga Town Center, with a strategy that includes print, radio and television, as well as online advertising campaigns, social media, event marketing and public relations.

  • Account Services Director
  • The Account Services Director is the most senior person dedicated to account service in the agency. This person is responsible for overseeing all client service activity, as well as being the daily point of contact between the agency and high-level clients. The Account Services Director (ASD) maintains the overall responsibility for the account services department, including leading, managing, advising, counseling and mentoring Account Executives in day-to-day client activity. The Account Services Director insures the agency’s clients receive appropriate and professional counsel and service from the account services staff, resulting in account stability, increased business and profit for the agency.

    This person interfaces with various agency departments to move projects through on behalf of the client. This includes coordinating with the media buyer, the creative director concerning creative issues and input, the public relations director concerning publicity, the production manager concerning scheduling and timing, and other account executives as needed for client support. The ASM has input in developing strategic marketing plans for their clients. After plans are developed and presented to clients, the ASM is responsible for carrying out the plan on a daily basis. The ASM is also responsible for gaining new business from existing clients, but is not a salesperson; s/he is a service person and will not be asked to cold canvas for new business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead account service department, resulting in smooth running, effective operation and reputation for excellent client service
    • Manage the internal team resources to best service the overall client account
    • Plan, coordinate and implement advertising campaigns for agency clients either directly or through subordinates
    • Stay apprised of progress of clients’ projects through production and traffic managers or other relevant personnel
    • Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients; supports other client service team members in these functions
    • Keeps apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing developments
    • Assists in preparing client invoices, proposals, marketing communications and strategic marketing plans, media and public relations plans

    • Holds regular internal account service department meetings to ensure harmony, productivity and high client satisfaction
    • Represents agency at industry and community functions.
  • Account Planner / Brand Planner
  • The Account Planner is responsible for providing relevant and imaginative insights to lay the foundation for the development of creative ideas and campaigns. He/She is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research, competitive audits, analysis, planning, writing and uncovering insights and developing strategies that articulate and position brands, launch new programs and guide creative expression.

    The Account Planner leads client discovery sessions and interviews, conducts focus groups and is responsible for developing brand position models that delivers insights and findings that drive creative excellence. The Account Planner works in collaboration with account management and creative to lead brand strategy initiatives and ensure integration with collective marketing and interactive efforts.

      Responsibilities:

    • Undertake quantitative and qualitative research and analyze data bases to produce useful insights, valuable information and clearly identify consumers, competitors, brands, trends, motivators, behaviors and markets in which our clients operate.
    • Clarify the client's advertising objectives and promote a culture of knowledge and understanding of business, markets and consumers of our clients.
    • Recognize and extract critical indicators from large and complex data sets and be able to interpret and express those indicators in a business context.
    • Conceptualize and develop brand strategies, campaigns and new business pitches according to market conditions and client demands.
    • Represents the client in all advertising communications through consumer research and dialogue with primary research specialists, account managers and creatives.
    • Establish the style/tone of communication in each project based on research findings.
    • Interpret primary/secondary research and analytical findings and explain the strategic marketing implications.
    • Establish criteria to evaluate and direct the creative work and the effectiveness of campaigns in order to maintain the quality of data analysis, research output and reporting, as well as ensure that everything produced by the Account Planner meets specified requirements.
    • Build strong relationships with key clients in marketing and research and earned their trust and respect.
    • Leads and participates in strategy development initiatives for clients and new business.
    • Presents research/strategy findings in client and new business meetings.
    • Works with the account executive to effectively craft creative briefs and brief creative staff followed by the development of Integrated Marketing and Communications plans.
    • Designs and develops research plans and determines best methodology for each project.
    • Designs and monitors the design of questionnaires and discussion guides.
    • Moderates focus groups, analyzes data and develops implications and recommendations.
    • Monitors and interprets cultural and social trends relevant to client business.
    • Analyzes data to uncover patterns and themes that lead to key insights
    • Creates brand positions, messaging and expression
    • Identifies research and strategy engagements for existing and new clients
    • Works with account executive to determine appropriate and achievable deadlines for projects.
    • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
    • Job Requirements

    • Three plus (3+) years of strategy experience in consulting, agency environment or relevant experience in understanding data analysis and research functions.
    • Bachelor’s required (Marketing, Advertising, Industrial Psychology or related field), Master’s encouraged
  • Account Executive
  • The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for daily contact between the agency and client accounts.   • Social Media Coordinator
  • In this integral role, the Social Media Coordinator will help to tell our brands’ stories to through their social media presence. This experienced communications and marketing professional will plan, develop, and maintain current and new social media communications efforts, as well as make recommendations regarding the use of current and future social media tools and strategies. Listening and analyzing trends will be a key function of this position. This person should have one to two years of social media experience with the ability to manage multiple projects for various clients simultaneously. We are looking for someone with a desire to write, share and engage with our client’s audiences online.

    Responsibilities:

    • Daily listening and monitoring of client and industry news, media and consumer trends, competitors and other related areas.
    • Identify and stay on top of emerging trends in social media tools, best practices, and campaigns.
    • Develop content ideas that can earn/engage fans across digital and social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc., and work with agency design team on content creation.
    • Research, identify and cultivate relationships with key brand social media influencers.
    • Tracking social media influence measurements and partnering with other departments to ensure proper and consistent messaging.
    • Reporting to clients and other parties on specific social media related trends and insights.

      Job Requirements:

    • The Social Media Coordinator must have at least one year of experience in social media, preferably for a marketing agency.
    • Social media junkie with deep knowledge of and interest in social media, including a curiosity about latest industry trends, technology and changes.
    • Creativity is a must. No idea is too big.
    • Media relations experience and digital and community building acumen.
    • Proficiency in social media listening platforms
    • Knowledge of and experience in using web analytics tools and implementation.

  • Senior Graphic Designer
  • The senior graphic designer is responsible for conceptualization and design of solutions from concept to completion, and works alongside the Associate Creative Director, Art Director and Account Executives to effectively execute creative designs that communicate clients’ brands and messages. The senior graphic designer makes design-related decisions in conjunction with Account Executives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and produce art and copy layouts for a variety of material
    • Develop designs that are on strategy and reflect brand’s personality
    • Design in a wide variety of styles that correspond with clients’ needs
    • Collaborate with Creative and Art Directors
    • Adhere to client budget and time constraints
    • Assist with production related needs
    • Manage time effectively and with little direction

  • Public Relations Director
  • The Public Relations Director is responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive media coverage for our company and our clients. The Public Relations Director works with the account executives to define and execute clients’ overall public relations strategy. He/She manages the flow and quality of work throughout the PR department, the retention and growth of PR clients, and PR business development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Help develop objectives, strategies, and work plans for clients’ campaigns.
    • Review and assess client campaigns and report findings to account executive.
    • Write, prepare and present (as needed) public relations plans to clients.
    • Write press releases, prepare information for media kits and craft pitch-angles for media.
    • Draft speeches for company executives and clients
    • Evaluate advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts.
    • Lead effort for new business opportunities with both current and potential agency clients.
    • Collaborates with agency’s other divisions to enhance project workflow and cultivate new business opportunities.
    • Maintains top-level client contact.
    • Represents the division and company in the community through affiliation with non-profit/civic organizations and professional associations.
    • Provides counsel to others in the department to help manage the overall workload.
    • Oversees division account planning, revenue growth, profitability, work quality, client relations and strategic development.
